Newsletter popups
One popup for each edition: French, Arabic and Polish. Click Preview to open one on a sample article page. Signups go straight into Gaudium Press's CRM, tagged by language.
Install (for the website team)
Paste one line into the site's footer, on every page. On WordPress with the Newspaper theme, use Theme Panel → Custom Code → Footer or a plugin like WPCode. Use the line for that site's language only.
French site

If the site uses a caching or minify plugin (WP-Optimize, etc.), exclude this script from minification and clear the cache after adding it.
When it shows
| Visitor | What happens |

| First visit | Opens after 12 seconds on the page, or once they scroll 45% of the way down, whichever comes first. A quick bounce never sees it. |
| Closes it or clicks "No thanks" | Hidden for 30 days, on every page. |
| Subscribes | Never shown again on that browser. |
| Browsing several pages | At most once per visit, never on every page. |
Timing can be changed per site with data-delay="20", data-scroll="60" or data-snooze-days="14" on the script tag.
Testing on the live site
- Add
?gp-popup=showto any page URL to force it open. - Add
?gp-popup=resetto clear the memory and see it again as a first-time visitor. - A button or menu link can open it too:
